Eligibility waiting periods are calculated from the first day of the month coinciding with or following an employee’s first day of active employment. For example, if an employee begins work on February 26th, March 1st becomes the start date for waiting period calculations. Eligibility must be satisfied through uninterrupted service in an eligible employment category.
