The public computer lab on the upper level of the library has thirty one iMacs with both Windows 10 and OS X installed. Restart to switch operating system. They all have web design & graphics, math & statistics, and word processing & general computing capabilities split between the two operating systems.

Printing

The Stylus Pro 9880 is available to Visual Arts students.

The DesignJet Z2100 is available to all students with the following exceptions: Science and Dance students may not print posters on this printer.

In addition to the two electronic classrooms in the library, SLC has a number of rooms in which faculty members can use a computer as part of their teaching. Please contact us for advice on integrating technology into your teaching.

All of the rooms listed here have laptop hookups and desktop computers (with wireless keyboards and mice). You can make a one time reservation in the EMS scheduling system.

Located in Heimbold 209, the Digital Media Lab is your resource for digital art. Whether you are working with images, animation, video, sound, and animation, or scanning and printing, we have the facilities and support to help you get it done.

While priority is given to art class work, the Digital Media Lab is open to the entire academic community.

The lab has 12 workstations. The classroom (209A) has 15 student stations and a teacher station.

Epson Stylus Pro 9880 (reserved for Visual Arts students)

A range of scanners for negatives, photographs, documents and large formats are available

The lab is open 9am-9pm Mon-Thurs and 9am-5pm Fri while classes are in session
