During hours that the Health & Wellness Center is open (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) for urgent care needs students can contact the Health & Wellness Center. When the Health & Wellness Center is closed, students with serious medical or psychological health concerns can request to be transported directly to the New York Presbyterian Westchester Hospital (formally Lawrence Hospital) Emergency Room by calling SLC Campus Safety at (914) 395-2222.
Campus Safety will transport you to the NYP Westchester (Lawrence Hospital) Emergency Room—or will call an ambulance for you, if appropriate. When you need to return to campus, call (914) 395-2209; SLC Campus Safety will return to pick you up.
There is always a member of the On-Call Residential Staff available (through Campus Safety desk). The staff member can answer questions and put you in touch with health professionals from the Health & Wellness Center when open. Let the Campus Safety dispatcher or campus safety officer know if you would like to speak with the on-call resident staff person.
