Emergency Care

When the Health & Wellness Center is closed, students with serious medical or psychological health concerns can request to be transported directly to the New York Presbyterian Westchester Hospital (formally Lawrence Hospital) Emergency Room by calling SLC Campus Safety  at (914) 395-2222.

Campus Safety will transport you to the NYP Westchester (Lawrence Hospital) Emergency Room—or will call an ambulance for you, if appropriate. When you need to return to campus, call (914) 395-2209; SLC Campus Safety will return to pick you up.

Local Urgent Care Centers

Urgent care centers are an option for accessing medical care using your private health insurance for non-emergency medical issues.

During hours that the Health & Wellness Center is open (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) for urgent care needs students can contact the Health & Wellness Center for guidance.
