Employees may choose to participate in the vision plan provided by VSP, which covers examinations, glasses, contact lenses and laser surgery. Employees may use in- or out-of-network providers. Information about the various co-payments or discounts are available in Human Resources. Premiums are paid by the employee through payroll deduction. Employees may join on the first of the month following employment or during the open enrollment period in November of each year. There are no claim forms either for in-network or out-network services. Bills for out of network services should be submitted to VSP in accordance with the procedures in the brochure provided to each member.
