Employees may choose to participate in the AFLAC Accident and Cancer Protection Plan. This plan helps supplement primary health plans by providing direct-to-the-policyholder cash benefits to help fill gaps in traditional health insurance coverage, such as deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses and loss of earning power, among others. Premiums are paid by the employee through payroll deduction.
