Working Hours
The normal office workweek is 35 hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a one-hour lunch period, which is not considered part of the working day. Employees of Operations and Facilities (except office staff) work a normal 40-hour week. Their schedules will differ from the office workweek in accordance with the shift worked.
Summer Hours
Summertime hours (June through August) may differ from this 9:00 to 5:00 schedule. Summer hours allow employees to work from 8:30 am to 5:15 pm Monday through Thursday (or at the supervisor’s discretion 8:15 am to 5:00 pm) and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays. There will be no lunch hour on Fridays. This schedule is entirely voluntary. You have the option of working a five-day 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule if it is more convenient.
