Information regarding Housing for the Fall 2020 Semester

  • All residents who leave for Thanksgiving will need to remove all of their belongings when they leave.
  • The residence halls close at 10am EST on December 19, 2020.  Residents who remained on campus through the Thanksgiving break will need to remove all of their belongings on this date.
  • The Express check-out process will be used this fall for all residents as this will reduce the amount of contact with others.  Once you have removed all of your belongings from your room/apartment, place your key(s) in the express check-out envelope and deposit that envelope in one of the key boxes located at the Westlands desk or the Hill House Lobby.  If you have lost your keys, please still complete the information on the envelope and deposit it in the keybox.
  • Review our Fall 2020 Housing Contract.

Please note that due to privacy policies, Sarah Lawrence can only share room assignments directly with the student for which they are intended and is unable to provide a list of those in your apartment nor in your residence hall. Visiting our Meet Up Spot is the best way to share your housing location and meet others in your residence hall. If you’d like to connect with other students, I encourage you to post and reply to each other.  Resident Advisors will also participate in this forum.

  • To remain compliant with NY state and public health guidelines, student-initiated room changes will not be permitted this semester.  Students will be required to live in their assigned room for the entire Spring semester.
  • None of our communities will have special designations for the Spring 2021 semester.
  • Do you have a question?  Drop in on our virtual office hours. Please do not share these links on social media or on any public forum because we do not want non-SLC persons bombing or disrupting our virtual meeting spaces.
