The normal retirement age is 65, with 10 years of service. Employees who retire at or above normal retirement age are eligible for all benefits described as available to employees retiring at "normal" retirement age.

Faculty Emeritus Benefits
In accordance with New York State and Federal law, there is no mandatory retirement age.
Upon retirement, the employee should contact Human Resources and TIAA to determine their retirement plan or annuity benefits.
Phased Retirement (Faculty Members only)
- To be eligible for Phased Retirement, you must meet the following requirements as of July 31 when your Phased Retirement starts:
- You must be a tenured faculty member
- You must be age 62 or older and
- You must have 10 or more years of service with the College
Must contact the Dean's office to start the Phased Retirement process.
