Housing deposit required for 2021-2022: Due April 12, 2021
An important step in bringing us together this fall involves housing selection and placement for this spring. Today, students may begin to submit their housing deposit with the Office of Student Accounts here. There will be a $300 deposit required in order for students to participate in housing selection and for those with an outstanding spring term balance, must have a payment plan in place with the Office of Student Accounts. The last day to submit a housing deposit will be Monday, April 12, 2021.
Students who do not meet these requirements will not be able to participate in the housing selection process and will not be guaranteed housing for the 2021-22 academic year.
The Office of Residence Life is finalizing the format and timeline for the housing selection process to make sure that it is equitable and efficient for all students. As stated in Cristle’s fall planning communication, First-year students and sophomores will be required to live on campus during the academic year, and will be guaranteed housing; this will help our newest students best connect and engage with a fully residential campus community and culture. All juniors and seniors who wish to live on campus will also be able to do so provided they follow the housing request procedures,
Specialized Housing requests
Any student with a documented disability who may need a specialized housing accommodation according to the College’s specialized housing policy should submit their application now. Students will need to be registered with the Disability Services in order to be considered for specialized housing. Since it may take time to collect necessary documents, please allow yourself ample time to get the documents submitted by April 19th. Please go to the Specialized Housing page to learn more about this process.
We understand you may have more questions regarding the housing selection process. Additional information will be available in mid-April. We thank you for your patience.
