Offenses such as sexual harassment and sexual assault can impair or limit the educational and occupational opportunities of any person at Sarah Lawrence and have no place in this community.

Students have the right to make a report to campus security, local law enforcement, and/or state police or choose not to report; to report the incident to the College; to be protected by the College from retaliation for reporting an incident; and to receive assistance and resources from the College.

• The Policy on Sexual Violence can be found within the Student Handbook.
• All faculty (including tenured, nontenured, and visiting professors and graduate assistants), staff (except for Health & Wellness staff), Residence Life employees (including RAs), and some student employees (including Gryphon Guides) are mandated reporters - meaning they must report to the Title IX Office any potential violations of the Policy on Sexual Violence. Mandated reporters should use this form to file a report. Reach out to the Title IX Coordinator with any questions.
