Resident Advisors, commonly known as RAs, are undergraduate student leaders who serve as peers, mentors, and facilitators of residential life. They foster community, organize social and educational programming, support students’ personal growth and well-being, and help create a positive, inclusive living and learning environment. RAs work within the broader Residential Life team to promote student engagement, belonging, and community standards.
RAs work collaboratively within their assigned residential area as part of a team led by a Resident Coordinator (RC). Each RC oversees their residential area and supervises the RAs, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure a cohesive approach to residential life and the needs of the students they serve.
