Sarah Lawrence College uses Rave Mobile Safety for its emergency notification system. Rave is one of the largest and most respected providers of emergency alert systems to colleges throughout the United States. Rave Mobile Safety is able to deliver messages to your Sarah Lawrence email address and your cell phone.
All students, staff and faculty are automatically placed into the system (as long as the college’s IT department has your cell phone #) and do not need to manually input their data.
Visitors/vendors/summer conference participants can also temporarily join the system by texting into it. Once they join, they will receive alert messages for up to 90 days. Should they want to leave the system before 90 days, all they need to do is text the word stop. It is also possible to renew for another 90 days. If you know someone who will be visiting the campus and they would like to temporarily receive emergency text messages from the college, please give them the instructions below:

Please email the College’s Director of Campus Safety if any of the following apply to you:
- You want to opt out of the system.
- You are presently not in the system, but would like to join.
- You would like to change any of your data in the system.
