The Day We Fight Back was a mass demonstration against the widespread surveillance of our nation and its impact on other countries as well. It was held on February 11th and had a large group of participants. The final numbers on their official site it showed that each of the “ways to fight back” capped in the high thousands. While this is a great turn out for the cause to end mass surveillance it is only the tip of the iceberg in getting get back a decent amount of privacy for this nation’s citizens. I will be researching more on the impact that this cause has created, but it will take time for more news to unfold.
