Description
Mindfulness meditation is practice that aims to cultivate a state of present-moment awareness by focusing on the breath, observing thoughts and feelings without attachment to them and working toward building acceptance of your experiences. At Counseling & Psychological Services, we have found that this 14-week class has helped students reduce stress and improve overall well-being. This class will introduce you to basic concepts of mindfulness but is also an option for those of you that are seeking a space to continue engaging with an already established practice of mindfulness.
