Description
Build body awareness while getting stronger and more flexible. We will build an environment of care and curiosity in which movers of all levels are welcome. This fun and nerdy practice will explore targeted flexibility, strength, and coordination activities. This class uses principles from applied neuroscience, somatics, and athletic mobility training to move with more awareness, reduce pain, build coordinated strength, and increase joint range of motion.. Each class will unpack and demystify the physical and mental actions that occur when we engage and stretch our muscles in coordination with breath, empowering students to better support the strength and flexibility needs of their other physical activities.
